13th Street – Hermosa Beach

The original California Mid Century home lends itself to the addition of a butterfly roof, rooftop deck, “flex” room and studio apartment. The facade elevation was raised updating the appearance to an open, inviting, and light structure. Inside, the elevation of the floor was raised in the courtyard, improving the indoor/outdoor connection.
